Smokefree United come to APSA
by zulfi (Tue 15th Dec 2009 11:44)
Participants must be 16 and over.
Smokefree United is a virtual club of quitters that provides coaching and support to help football fans and players to stop smoking. They work with football legends John Barnes, Ian Wright, Gianfranco Zola and teams from the Premier League.
COI London proposes launching Smokefree United using a specially created, Smokefree United goal board to drive media interest and interaction. The goal board will have players wearing a Smokefree United kit painted on it and a trophy-shaped hole. It will be styled and operate in the same way as the infamous goal board on Soccer AM, which is part of a regular studio slot where celebrities attempt to kick a football through the hole in the goal board.
